Mealtime Stories, LLC was started in Seattle to promote the use of creative behavioral interventions for children with persistent feeding difficulties. As its founder, Maggie Tai Tucker, MOT, OTR/L, has sinced moved to Shanghai, China with her family, it has now become an international operation. Maggie Tai received her Master's in Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Washington. She also holds a BS in zoology from UW and an AB in history and literature from Harvard University. Mary Neifert, MOT, OTR/L, is the co-creator of Mealtime Stories. Mary lives near Seattle and is a school-based therapist when not working on Mealtime Stories business. Maggie Tai and Mary presented on Mealtime Stories and the related interventions at the 2007 and 2008 American Occupational Therapy Association conferences. Maggie Tai is scheduled to speak at the 2009 American Speech and Hearing Association conference. Maggie Tai and Mary have also conducted in-service training events at a number of Seattle-area therapy clinics.
